REPAY (Real-time Electronic Payments) is a publicly traded electronic payments company that offers a unified, omni-channel payment platform. It enables clients to accept and send money via credit/debit cards, ACH, and virtual cards, streamlining consumer payments, vendor payments, and loan disbursements across multiple industries.
CLEARMATTER leadership was initially engaged with REPAY across two projects. The first involved financial modeling for a $100M acquisition target. The second assignment involved performing detailed, longitudinal customer analyses across REPAY’s own client book. Following these two assignments, REPAY engaged CLEARMATTER leadership for a reorganization management consulting project, then subsequently as Contract Chief of Staff & Strategy in its Business Payments unit. All told, CLEARMATTER worked with REPAY for over 2.5 years and generated the following results:

CLEARMATTER was engaged by the Catalyst executive team and primary investor to assist in the underwriting, acquisition, and acceleration plan for Catalyst’s predecessor, Heartland Communications Group. CLEARMATTER worked alongside Catalyst to build financial and customer base models, develop the business’ strategic and tactical growth plan, and execute that plan across a 9-month assignment. Catalyst successfully completed its acquisiton and plan implementation, with the following results:

Roadway Management Technologies

Roadway Management Technologies offers real-time Pavement Lifecycle Management through passive data collection from fleet vehicles. It deploys proprietary, multi-sensor systems + AI tools to measure pavement conditions and drive predictive maintenance programs. Their platform provides government agencies and engineering firms with continuous pavement-performance data to prioritize maintenance and extend roadway life cycles nationally across over 20 states.
CLEARMATTER was initially engaged by RMT’s management team to assist in raising capital and developing it acceleration strategy. The engagement quickly evolved into a more comprehensive assignment, whereby CLEARMATTER leadership was enlisted on a tactical, day-to-day basis, executing everything from financial operations, to sales and marketing management, to designing and training around customer success operations. CLEARMATTER was ultimately engaged to supplement leadership in a CXO, President role for a 12-month period. This included de-facto CFO responsibilities, CRO assistance, and development of a nationwide partner program, which radically accelerated RMT’s growth. Success metrics are as follows:
